Our Special Lady

On Tuesday, October 21, we deemed the weather to be fair for our open-ocean leg up the New Jersey coast to Manhattan, up the East River, through Hell Gate and on to Long Island Sound. Of course, that meant a trip past the Statue of Liberty, Ellis Island and a view of the southern end of Manhattan. All iconic testimonies to our great nation's source and purpose of being.

Next comes our final leg home through Long Island Sound and Fisher's Island Sound, Rhode Island Sound and Buzzards Bay.
