That's Italian for two. The family part of this past weekend started with dinner at Acqua al Due, an Italian restaurant favored by cousin Bill and Renee. It is housed in a former PNC Bank branch and drinks started in the old vault in the basement. No worries; it was delicious all around.

Amore
Amore

This is the placemat from the restaurant, a whimsical testimony to the power of food and wine. The restaurant has two locations: Annapolis and Florence.

Jeff's grandson was with us for this and subsequent activities over the weekend. Saturday night Bill and Renee hosted us for a delicious dinner at their house. Here, we could relax, do laundry, eat, do more laundry and then have breakfast before going back to the boat.

Ben drove Jeff to BWI mid-day. We're sorry to see him go. His humor and willingness to jump in to help was always appreciated. Nothing daunted his spirit.

Steve and I headed off to the Boat Show to help answer questions developed over the past month of cruising. We got to talk with Sabre about how best to clean fuel tanks. We saw the fellow, Andrew, who sold Brio. It was nice to catch up with him. And we spoke with several other vendors.

Sunday night was dinner again with Bill and Renee, then back to Brio for the night.

The weekend was significant in other ways. We are now more than halfway through our Chesapeake Bay tour. We are now in an interregnum between Jeff and our "new" member, Charlie. We will rendezvous with Charlie next weekend in Baltimore. During this interlude of a few days, Brio will poke her bow into a few areas she hasn't visited before.

And that's what lies ahead.

Cheers,

Brio
