Dark Harbor 20
Between Belfast and Pulpit Harbor lies a lovely island called Islesboro. Andiamo explored the island by entering Gilkey Harbor that separates the island into 700-Acre Island and Islesboro. Tucked into a corner of this opening is Dark Harbor, really one of the centers of social activity on Islesboro.

The Dark Harbor 20 is a Sparkman and Stephens design from the 1930s. It is almost of mythic standing. Certainly, she is beautiful.
You can find these at anchor in Gilkey's Harbor, tugging at their moorings and waiting to be released to the winds, just as what has happened here.
We left the Harbor, exiting by the narrow and shallow "back door" to head abross Penobscot Bay to Pulpit Harbor where we will spend the night.
Cheers,
Andiamo
